COASTAL VETERINARY EMERGENCY CLINIC
Your Emergency Veterinarian is here When You Arrive
When you arrive, a veterinary technician meets with you to gather important information about the nature of your pet’s emergency. Our emergency veterinarians then perform an emergency evaluation to diagnose the issue and develop a treatment plan. Once this is done, we provide all of the information you need to make the right choice for your pet. This includes an estimate of our fees.
Emergencies, accidents, and illnesses are unfortunate facts of life, but how many of us plan for the unthinkable before it happens? We understand how upsetting it is when your pet is sick or injured. Our Emergency veterinarians and technical support staff are on premises at our Jacksonville NC location working as a team with expertise to respond to emergency and critical care situations. Rest assured, if you ever have an emergency with your pet, there is quality veterinary care available.

About us
During an Emergency
During an Emergency the most important thing to remember during an emergency is to remain calm. If an emergency occurs during business hours, telephone your veterinarian for recommendations. If it is after hours or on a holiday, call us at (910) 455-3838. Our trained and caring staff may be able to help over the phone. If it becomes necessary to transport your sick pet, do so carefully. Keep your pet warm and quiet. Remember that even your pet may bite when he/she is in pain.
